The Bellmore-Merrick Esports Club provides opportunities for students to play video games in a friendly but competitive online setting. Hosting both local in-person tournaments and online matches through the High School Esports League, students will work as a team, build problem solving skills, and most importantly, have fun with their friends doing something they love. Esports are a growing field, with students receiving college scholarships and "going pro" to play video games for a living.
Examples of events hosted by our Esports Clubs:
-Gaming expos
-Open play events
-Super Smash Bros. tournaments
-Online competition through HSEL
