- Isaac Dela Rosa
Thank you to Mrs. Chiaravallo who always helped me when I needed it. I had Mrs. Chiaravallo for 4 years now and I am grateful for all the amazing work she has taught me, and I will always remember her even when I go to college.
- Ashley Budhu
Thank you Mrs. Bonfante for everything you taught me how to become an adult in the real world. You prepared your students and now I'm off to college with a lot of advice and new skills. Once again, thank you!
- Aja Turner
I think the teacher who has had the greatest impact on my high school experience is Ms. Freeman. She was my English teacher during freshman year and again in junior year. She’s influenced who I am today by consistently offering guidance, helping me make better choices, and encouraging me to find my own path and become more independent.
- Sharon Dimbo
Dear Mr. Gima,
I have never had a teacher like you before. You made learning history incredibly fun with your tortuous projects, relentless waves of pop quizzes, and unique teaching style. I may have not realized it in the moment, but I have never enjoyed a class like I did in yours. Because of your dedication to prepare us for the AP exam I felt confident and prepared walking in to take it. Thank you
- Nathan Realpe
I want to thank everyone who helped me become the person that I am. This has been an experience that I can never forget. I have been through so much within my 4 years as a student at BHS. Dear Mrs. Woznick,
You are essentially my in-school parent. Whether it's a crappy day or exciting news you're always there to listen to what's going on in my life. At the same time, I'm so appreciative in having a freshman teacher that could see me grow and constantly bring the best out of me all four years of high school. Thank you for your constant support and willingness to be a sounding board.
- Ruby Brick

Thank you to Ms. Forscher for always keeping me in touch with my personality and teaching me about the true world.
- Laalah Georges
I would like to thank Ms. Riccardi for making English fun and showing me that I actually do have a passion for writing. During my junior year having English with Ms. Riccardi as my teacher, I have learned that writing doesn't always have to be essays and becoming bored within a minute. I can incorporate my feelings and my thoughts into my writing. I am very grateful for that.
- Jessenia Murudumbay

- Chelsealyn Wint
Thank you to Ms Freeman and Ms Mangru for always listening to my problems when I was going through a tough time this school year.
- Eliza Passano
To Mr. Di Domenico,
You don’t know this, but you’ve taught me the importance of trusting myself and recognizing how the knowledge I’ve gained is better used in real life rather than being test on it. Beneath your rather sharp sarcasm lies a genuinely caring teacher who is always present for his students, even if it’s not always obvious. My favorite day in your class, was the day you told me I got a 0 on a quiz when the bell rang and immediately left the room and wouldn’t answer my email about whether you were joking or not.
Although you would never admit that I’ve always been your favorite student, I will always admit that you are my favorite teacher. Not because I enjoyed the humiliation that crept in every time I walked into your classroom, but because you’ve always had some witty remark TO EVERYTHING! I must say I've become immune to your sarcasm. I am able to detect it from miles away now. Thank you for sharing your music, life lessons, humor, and knowledge with me and everyone who loves you. You are one of a kind Mr. D !
- Salma Abomota
I would like to thank Ms. Forscher & Mr. Gentry. Not only did they write my college recommendations, but they truly transformed my junior year. Without their classes I wouldn’t be who I am today.

To My Teachers,
Thank you for shaping me into the student and young woman I am today. Each of you has left a mark on my growth—intellectually, emotionally, and morally—and I carry those lessons with deep gratitude.
To Mr. Gima, thank you for always challenging me to push the boundaries of my thinking. You didn’t just teach me to form opinions—you taught me to inform them. Your class ignited my passion for critical discourse and helped me find my voice through reason and reflection.
To Mr. Iansito, thank you for pushing me to think critically, analytically, and creatively. You reminded me that intelligence isn’t just about having answers—it’s about asking the right questions and daring to explore complex ideas with depth and curiosity.
To Ms. Schulze, thank you for showing me that my voice matters. You always gave me the courage to stand up, speak out, and fight for what’s right—not just in theory, but in action. You helped me see myself as a global citizen with a responsibility to create change.
To Ms. Matthews and Mrs. Rivera, thank you for being the listening ears and safe spaces I needed. Your advice, empathy, and real-world wisdom have guided me through challenges big and small. You reminded me that strength isn’t just about persistence—it’s about knowing when to ask for help and how to grow from it.
Because of all of you, I leave this chapter not just with knowledge, but with clarity, purpose, and heart. Thank you for believing in me.
With gratitude,
Lea Vaval

Mr.Ibeh was my freshman year gym teacher and was very hard on me all the time I would walk in late to class and just sit in the back doing no work he would always call me out and make me write in a notebook because I would play games on the chrome book. I eventually failed health class and had to take morning class and when I finshed he told me I should be playing sports at first I laughed and told I don’t play sports I am now a three sport athlete and about to graduate because of Mr. Ibeh and my coaches like Mr. Dugan, Mr. Iavarone and me Mr. Romano.

Mrs. Lawless and Mrs. P,
I used to believe I’d never be good at math and that it was something I’d never understand. Your class changed that. Now, I finally have a bit of understanding, and math doesn’t feel so confusing anymore :)
- Gabrielle Seales
Dear Mr. Gima,
Despite the incessant pop quizzes, scathing remarks, and the pleasure you get from getting your students to turn on each other with those projects, I still feel compelled to write you a message of gratitude anyway. Exactly how you managed that, I’ll never know. What I do know is that is that your class was the one I would never miss a day of if I had a choice, and when I was weighing my options for what I wanted to study in college, my time in APUSH nudged me in the right direction. So I just wanted to thank you for the enthusiastic teaching and the inspiration to study history. And I promise to take the time travel project answers to my grave.

- Judah Peters
Thank you Mr. Sim, you were my first real teacher into the big scary high school world and you immediately started to change how I used to view life, almost coming out of my adolescence. You were the first figure to actually make me feel secure about myself not as a student, but as a person, a young growing girl who wanted to change. Though, you were always sort of my reminder for me to stay in a positive attitude.
Thank you Mr. Musto, I can't show how much I deeply appreciate and appreciated the personal talks and bond we’ve had since sophomore year science. I'll never forget all the times you've stuck up for me towards other students. I knew I could always come to you to either get a laugh or a favor with nothing in return expected. I'll never forget. Thank you for your trust and respect, I hope I've given you the same graces back.
Thank you Ms. Carr, for absolutely always having my back and always supporting me. You're genuinely the most caring and considerate teacher and person I personally know. You always notice the little things in your students and you never hesitate to stand up and help us out. I want to say thank you to my favorite teachers Mr. LaTorre, Mr. Musto, Ms. Huss and Ms. Schulze. First, I want to thank Mr. Musto who has brightened my day when our science class was dull. You gave us freedom by taking us outside enjoying the weather. You always had interesting facts to share with the class and you were really funny and entertaining. Next is LaTorre, your class environment in freshmen year has really rocked my world. You are the reason history has become my favorite subject, you made it so interesting, engaging, and fun. You are such a chill teacher who loves making students laugh with your wittiness and personality especially when you are lecturing. You have also helped me study before a test or a quiz in U.S. 1 class in my sophomore year. So thank you for helping understanding the values of working hard, knowing ones responsibility, and being a role model and a friend to me. Another history teacher I want to thank is Ms. Huss who is the sweetest most caring person any student can have. You have also made history very engaging and I have always and will always appreciate it. Your class was one of the only classes I enjoyed being part of in my junior year. So once again thank you for just being yourself which is happy, bright, and full of kindness. Last but definitely not least I finally want to thank Ms. Schulze what I really admire about you is that you see potential not only in me but on other students you are the type of teacher who would create a classroom with comfort, lift students up, understand there struggle whether if it's stress or academics you will always try in the best of your ability to fix that. Criminal Justice was one of the best classes I have ever chosen I never regret it. So once again I can't express it, you guys are my favorite teachers you will always be in my thoughts and I will cherish these memories about you guys. Thank You.
- Aidan Brea Cruz
