There is a lot to learn and do throughout the holidays. You may hang out with friends and learn how to play an instrument in addition to playing video games. During the holidays, you can do anything you want (as long as it's safe). You can do countless things, including shopping, snowboarding, ice skating, baking, and playing board games, but since everyone has a distinct way of spending their spare time, I was interested to know what some of my friends would do during their break. I was curious, so I asked three of my friends what they were planning to do with their spare time over the holidays, and they all mentioned the same thing—spending time at home doing something they enjoy or going out with friends.
Friend one says, “Well usually during the holiday break I would be hanging out with my friends a lot, going to the mall, and sometimes I play on my piano and listen to music.”
Friend two says, “During my holiday break, I would say I chill at home a lot, and when I can I try to hang out with my friends if they're available, or if I’m available. I’d be home playing games, probably trying to work out, trying to be a little bit productive, and a little spending time with family, (not really), but when I’m home, depending on my mood I would try to learn something new…probably not, but maybe!”
Friend three says, “Usually I will try to watch TV shows, play some games, and listen to music most of the time. I don’t go out as often.”
I behave in the same manner as friends one and three described earlier. After school, I can relax mainly during the break. I was able to spend more time with my cousins because they're usually here. To pass the time and attempt to have some fun, I would either ice skate or roller-blade. Instead of learning something new during the holiday, a lot of people would like to partake in entertaining activities, you are presented with an infinite number of possibilities. What you choose to participate in is what you enjoy to spend the break.
