Letterman Jackets

1. Porter Belles and Beaus letterman jackets will be awarded to dancers upon completing two (2) consecutive years of successful membership in the Gladys Porter ECHS Dance Program. Rule is active as of August 1, 2021.

2. Members who receive a letterman jacket will be under the Porter Belles and Beaus Letterman Contract until graduation. Member must be in good standing with the organization as per the University Interscholastic League (UIL) guidelines. If member does not fulfill his/her commitment to the dance program or breaks any rules that fall under the Brownsville ISD Student Code of Conduct he/she will forfeit their letterman jacket immediately.

3. If a senior dancer receives their jacket and exits the dance program, he/she will forfeit their letterman jacket immediately.

4. The letterman jacket is the property of Gladys Porter ECHS Dance Program and will be considered ON LOAN until graduation. **Successful is defined as being an active member of the Porter Belles and Beaus Dance Team, performing during football season, pep rallies, recitals, competition season, accomplishing every fundraiser, and in addition, abiding by the dance team and campus code of conduct. Attendance and grades will also be taken into account for receiving and keeping their Varsity Letterman Jacket**
