About Us
It is with great pleasure and pride that we welcome you, parents/guardians, and students to the Birdville Agriculture Science Department and FFA Chapter. This year will be filled with new and exciting opportunities for everyone involved! Beginning now, as a student in an agricultural science class, students will be eligible to become a member of Birdville FFA. By becoming a member, the opportunities for personal, career, and academic growth and success are limitless. Each year, students from all over the nation compete in Leadership Development Events, Career Development Events, Conventions, Meetings, and Camps. These students have the opportunity to apply for millions of dollars in scholarships to pursue post-secondary degrees at colleges, universities, and trade schools across the nation. Students involved in the FFA will also have the opportunity to exhibit livestock, Agri-Science Fair projects, and compete in Leadership, Career, and Speaking Development Events. We challenge each student to become a member of the Birdville FFA Chapter. If you have any questions regarding agriculture classes, participation in Leadership Development or Career Development Teams, or Animal Projects, please feel free to contact one of the ag teachers.
