Interested in Running for an Officer Position?

 To be a chapter officer, you must:

• Must be an active FFA member in good standing with Birdville ISD and FFA Advisors and enrolled in an ag class for the elected school year.

• Hold at least their Greenhand Degree at the time of running for FFA Office.

• Must have completed at least one year of agricultural education coursework.

• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. 

• Maintain academic eligibility throughout the entire term of your office. 

• Must participate in one LDE, one CDE, and all fundraisers. 

• Must demonstrate leadership qualities, responsibility, and teamwork skills.

• Must be willing to attend all required meetings, activities, and leadership training events.

• To be considered for FFA President, you must have been a previous FFA Officer in good standing. 

• Must complete an application to obtain involvement and participation scores, test, interview, and a speech given to obtain the popular vote.
