August 21st- BCTAL First Friday - 5 pm - 7 pm

Come tour BCTAL and see what there is to offer! Meet your students' teachers and see what all Birdville FFA has to offer!

September:

Sept. 8th- September FFA Chapter Meeting - 6 pm

First meeting of the year. Have questions about FFA, events, livestock, or Ag Backers? Come join us to discuss why you should join!

Sept. 14th- District 6 Fall Meeting - 5:30 pm

Sept. 14th- Sietz Fundraising Kickoff

A great way for our students to raise funds for contests and meeting materials. Sietz offers a range of products, from cured meats to car fresheners. Check it out!
Any student who is participating in an LDE or CDE must participate in selling items

Sept. 19th- Birdville FFA Greenhand Camp - 9 am - 1 pm

This is for our first-year members who want to get more involved in FFA. Join us for food and fun with our officers.

Sept. 24th-25th- State Fair of Texas Market Sheep Show

Sept. 26th-27th- State Fair of Texas Market Goat Show

Sept. 28th- Oct. 1st- State Fair of Texas Market Swine Show

Sept. 30th- FFA Membership Deadline - 5 pm

Hard deadline for the 2026-2027 membership year. Spring Semester membership will open in January.

October:

Oct. 2nd- 4th- State Fair of Texas Dairy Goat Show

Oct. 5th- 7th- Heart of Texas in Waco Steer Show

Oct. 6th- October Chapter FFA Meeting and Spring Stockshow Entry Night - 6 pm

Join us for a real treat! We will also be taking entries for any spring major livestock show at the conclusion of the FFA Meeting

Oct. 9th- 11th- Heart of Texas in Waco Market Sheep Show

Oct. 12th- 14th- Heart of Texas in Waco Market Goat Show

Oct. 16th- Last day for Sietz Fundraiser

Oct. 23rd- Boots and Bling Ag Backers Fundraiser - 6 pm

Enjoy a night of fun with Ag Backers and help raise money for our students. This event is for ages 21 and up; tickets are $40. Please see the Facebook page for more information

November:

Week of Nov. 2nd

Seitz will deliver the orders sometime this week; please watch the BAND group for when we have a closer idea of what day they will be delivered.

Nov. 10th- District LDE Contest - 4:30 pm

All LDE teams will compete to advance to our Area 5 contest. Please wish our students luck!

TBD - November Chapter FFA Meeting - 6 pm

General chapter FFA, enjoy a night full of games, laughter, and socializing with your fellow members.

Nov. 17th- Area 5 LDE Contest - 8:30 am

December:

Dec. 4th- Barn Clean Up Day

Any student who will show in our barn show MUST assist for the entire allotted time. Students will spend the day cleaning and prepping the barn for our school show.

Dec. 4th- School Show

Practice show for spring majors, $20 CASH entry to participate. This is also a great event for students who are interested in showing livestock for the 2026-2027 school year! Free to watch and support your fellow members!

Dec. 7th- District Banquet - 6 pm

Dec. 8th- December FFA Chapter Meeting and TCJLS Entry Night
