Each day participants will attend two sessions, one in the AM and one in the PM. With the exception of Monday, each day there will be two concurrent sessions running in the morning and two concurrent sessions running in the afternoon to choose from.
Lunch will be provided each day at noon. Participants should feel free to use the time to socialize, decompress, or attend the optional visitor sessions from various digital scholarship groups and researchers on campus to learn a little bit more about being involved in the digital scholarship community on campus. Guests for each lunch session are noted on the schedule.
Morning and afternoon sessions run concurrently. Morning sessions run between 9:30 a.m. to noon and afternoon sessions run between 1:30 p.m. to 4.
*NOTE* On Monday and Friday lunch will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and the afternoon session will run 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. On that day, we will hold a networking session in the IASH Conference Room (same place where lunches arse each day) for participants to get to know each other and meet other members of the campus digital humanities community. Appetizers and beverages will be provided.

12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Lunch [IASH Conference Room] *on Monday (08/07) and Friday (8/11) lunch will end at 1 p.m.

Advanced sessions are marked with asterisks. These sessions are open to everyone, but you may feel more comfortable in them if you have some familiarity with coding languages or attend the 'Intro to Python' session on Monday afternoon. We plan to hold the sessions with an asterisk in the Library Classroom; however, if one of those sessions has more attendees than the foundational concurrent session, we will switch rooms that day.
*marks sessions that assume basic knowledge of programming (taking the 'Intro Python' session will suffice)
**marks sessions that may be a little harder to follow for those not yet comfortable with programming
