What is data?

This session is intended for workshop participants who are brand new to working with data and digital methods. In this workshop, we will cover different types of data that you might want to work with, where to find data, and how you can learn to work with your data in other DHRI sessions. You are welcome to come to this workshop with or without a dataset in mind that you would like to work with; there will be time during the session to explore the types of data that are available in your field or area of interest.
