The most important step, after doing all the hard, beautiful work of creating your Online Portfolio, is to make sure that everything is accessible to the public.
This means not just the permissions on your platform, but also every item within the portfolio.
If you are using Google Drive, you can ‘batch set’ your files to be publicly accessible back in your directory of folders by clicking on your folder and changing the 'General access'. See instructions below.
Click on everything. Check that:
you haven't included any private information
documents open (where possible, upload pdfs instead of word or Google documents, because they are designed to be shared)
videos play
audio can be heard
and links work.
The simplest way to check is to open it using an incognito/private window to check that people external to your school can access and view your linked files.
You can download a copy of our quality assurance checklist here.
Ask your advisor to do a final check and sign off.
Now you are ready to PUBLISH.
