Hi, I’m Alisha Bradley, a creative, compassionate, and resilient learner from the Gold Coast. I’m passionate about making the world a better place, not just for people, but for wildlife and domesticated animals.
As a registered wildlife carer and Certificate II in Animal Care graduate, I’ve raised and rehabilitated native animals, including a brushtail possum named Peanut whose story was featured in Rotary Magazine. My love for wildlife care has grown into hands-on learning, volunteering, and community action, from fundraising for rescue organisations to crafting pouches for orphaned joeys.
Creativity is at the core of everything I do. When health challenges affected my fine motor skills, I adapted and discovered vector design and laser cutting, giving life to my quirky wooden creations called Woodles, each one with its own story and personality.
Beyond wildlife and art, I’m dedicated to advocacy and inclusion, creating educational resources like my free LGBTQIA+ booklet to promote understanding and connection.
My journey has been shaped by curiosity, adaptability, and a belief that difference is a strength. Through my projects, I continue to blend creativity with purpose, growing my small business, supporting animal rescue, and building a kinder, more connected world.
For my senior project, I built my own unique brand from the ground up.
Betta Dayz is a playful and creative brand that brings joy through design and storytelling. It features Woodles (stackable wooden blind box toys), mystery sticker packs, and T-shirts, all connected by a cohesive vector art style, bright colour palette, and whimsical personality.
Born from adapting to personal health challenges, Betta Dayz represents resilience and creativity proving that imagination can thrive in any circumstance. What started as a single concept and grew into a full product line celebrating adaptation, tactile design, and emotional connection.
“Adapting doesn’t mean giving up, it means finding new ways to make creativity thrive."
