Raising Peanut the Brushtail Possum

Raising Peanut, an orphaned brushtail possum, was a life-changing experience for me. With guidance from mentors and support from my wildlife rescue community, I cared for Peanut from a tiny joey to a healthy adult ready for release. Along the way, I learned about wildlife nutrition, habitat creation, and the importance of ethical care. My journey reflects my commitment to helping Australia’s native animals thrive.
