Rules:
Code of Conduct
All players must follow BIFC's Codes of Conduct
Field Lines
We will play white lines this fall.
Slide tackling
No slide tackling is allowed
Players on the field
Every player must be registered with BIFC
To start the game, each team must have a minimum of five players, one of which is a goalkeeper
Teams can have no more than 7 players, including a keeper, on the field at any time
Subs
Open subbing with no limit to the amount of subs per game
A team cannot have more than 7 players on the field at any one time
Gameplay
Two 25 minute halves, with a 5 minute half
Referees can add up to five minutes total, for an entire game, for injury stoppage time
A forfeit is declared when a team has been unable to field a team after 10 minutes of game time has passed. Forfeits are not rescheduled
Thow ins and corners are played as normal
Goalies are not allowed to use their hands outside of the designated area
Shinguards are required
Any player can sub for any other team as needed
No dogs or food on the field
Ejections
A player who receives a red card will be ejected from the game and will need to leave the Woodward turf right away. The player will also receive a one match ban.
A player who receives two yellow cards in a game will be ejected from the game and will need to leave the Woodward turf right away. Like above, the player will also recieve a one match ban.
Bainbridge Island FC has a strict zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, bullying, or violent conduct on the soccer field against other players, referees, or spectators. Players may be asked to leave the game or the program if they are not able to conduct themselves appropriately.
If a player is visibly under the influence of alcohol or a narcotic substance, the player will not be allowed to continue playing and will be asked to leave.
