As you can imagine, this is going to change the nature of take-home essays as students can either turn in exactly what ChatGPT wrote for them or they can use its response as a starting point and then tweak it to better match their assignment. There are going to be many beneficial uses of this technology as well, so I want to highlight some of those opportunities it provides as well as preparing teachers for the challenges it presents.
