Dual Credit Courses start on August 22nd. Until then, Juniors will only show up for their non dual credit courses. They may stay home on the days and times they have dual credit courses.
1) Students should check their schedules on eConnect to see their course timings, professor information, and class location.
2) All students taking class through Dallas College are required to select a Program of Study for transcript purposes; you will not be locked into a specific degree. Please follow instruction in link, log into econnect and select an Associates of Arts or Associates of Science program:
Textbooks:
BHA is not part of the IncludEd Program for the following reasons:
Students can find deals on textbooks or rent them, which will save money
Not all professors use their textbooks
It requires all students to pay over $200 per semester
We don't have the option of including only some students in the program. Its an all-or-nobody deal
*We are hoping, as they continue to evolve and revisit their processes, that there will be more flexibility in their program. Until then, we are keeping the same policy we have had for many graduating classes- Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks and supplies.
Tips:
If available, ALWAYS buy used textbooks!!! At the end of the semester, go back and resell it to the bookstore.
There are options to rent textbooks too. You will have to search for this option.
