Testing Center

Testing Center F.A.Q

Q: What is the purpose of the Testing Center?

A: The Testing Center is a resource we have available for BHS students to have an alternative location to take their tests. During blocks 1, 2, 3, and 4, it is typically used for students with IEPs or 504s to receive their test accommodations. During Pride, it is typically used for students to make up a test they may have missed due to an absence.

Q: Where is the Testing Center?

A: The Testing Center is located in the library, next to the computer lab.

Q: Can I sign up for Pride in the Testing Center?

A: The Testing Center can be used by teacher request only during Pride time. It is strictly for tests and quizzes.

Q: How do I sign up to use the Testing Center?

A: The teacher giving your test needs to make arrangements for you to use the Testing Center if it is a true need. Most students will take their test in their classroom during regular class time and will not need to use the Testing Center.

Q: I have a different question about the Testing Center. Who should I ask?

A: Ms. Kelli, the Testing Center Paraeducator, can answer your questions. Email her at kvanblaricome@bettendorf.k12.ia.us.
