I am a 1^st generation American. My dad emigrated from Norway when he was 17 right at the end of WW2. I was born In Portland, Oregon and graduated high school in Medford, Oregon. I graduated from the UO and then went to Africa for 2.5 years in the Peace Corps. I was in The Gambia West Africa. It was the best experience of my life. I got my masters at Western. I am a rock hounding nut, love to bird watch and go for hikes with my dog Duke. I run every morning and have done that for the past 40 years. All sports are my favorite sport but participation wise it was track and cross country. I also like to windsurf. I have an older brother who is a computer wiz and lives in San Diego CA. I have two daughters, Dani is 22 and Chloe is 19. I love to experiment with cooking, invent my own dishes, be creative with that. I am on Pinterest constantly looking for ideas. Purple is probably my favorite color, but sometimes grey is because there are so many different shades of it. Email is the quickest way to get a response from me.
