About myself (childhood and family):

• I was born in Iowa City, Iowa and am the middle of five kids

• I have lived in Eugene for 20 years

• I am married and am the father of four kids (one daughter, three boys)

• This is my eighth year as principal of Shasta

About my education:

• Graduated from Ben Lomond High School

• Earned my bachelor's degree from Weber State University (Damina Lillard’s alma mater)

• I have a master’s degree from the University of Oregon

My hobbies:

• I love to read or listen to books

• There is nothing better than riding my bike, it’s the best

• I enjoy spending time with my family

Favorite Food:

• Ice cream

Favorite Book:

• Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card

• Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriett Beecher Stowe

Favorite Movie:

• Rad (If you haven’t seen it, you’re missing out!)

Favorite Color:

• Black (I know it isn’t a color, it’s a shade, but it’s my favorite)

Favorite Sport:

• Cycling
