• Grew up in Michigan and am the second of 6 kids

• Family time is important and should be protected

• Loved school, sledding, outdoor activities, playing sports, school activities, 4-H, reading and listening to music

• Worked as an EA for a migrant education program and on a vegetable farm during college years

• Joined the US Army after college

• Became a grandma before I was a mom!

• I love my job!

Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (LCC); Bachelors in German and Economics (Grand Valley University); Masters in Teaching (Pacific University)

My hobbies:

Reading, yardwork, traveling
