As stated by the Connecticut State Board of Education, high-quality, comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) and bilingual education programs are essential to acquire English language proficiency and academic proficiency for students who are Multilingual Learners.  

Identification and Programming for Multilingual Learners

This provides an overview of the identification process mandated in the state of Connecticut. 

This provides a list of all currently identified multilingual learners as  well as students that have been previously identified and have since met criteria to exit services over the years. 

The Las Links Assessments assesses English Language Proficiency and student growth.  The LAS Links is given annually to all multilingual learners K-12.
