Designated Supports for Standardized Assessments

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES

All decisions about accessibility should be made as a part of a team and documented.

It is important that any designated support or accommodation assigned to students should be something that students utilize on a regular basis. It should be something we know works for students.

The updated Accessibility Chart included in the link below identifies a range of universal tools, designated supports, and accommodations available students when accessing the Smarter Balanced and the NGSS Science Assessments. Please use this guide when considering assigning supports for students for any assessments including NWEA.
