Prepared Public Speaking

*2026 Update*

The prepared public speaking contest will run very similarly to the National Contest. Contestants need to write and memorize a speech on an Agricultural-related issue of their choice. The speech must be presented between 6-8 minutes. A copy of the speech manuscript must be submitted upon registration in JudgingCard.com. The rubric for the presentation will follow the rubric for National FFA.

Limit 2 speakers per chapter; 20 speakers max. A wait list will be open with registration if needed. 

Please plan on checking in at the Fairgrounds prior to taking your students to the contests at remote locations. 

The Prepared Public Speaking Contest will take place at the USU Tremonton campus.
