SpinPixel
Description
Our project is the creation of a 2D spinning LED display, designed to visually display messages, patterns, and animations in a circular format. The desired functionality includes the ability to programmatically control the LEDs to showcase text, graphics, and dynamic content while rotating. Major components and subsystems needed for this project would include an array of LEDs, a motorized rotating platform, and a microcontroller for LED control and coordination. Challenges may involve precise synchronization of LED animations with the rotational speed, power management, and developing software for content creation and display management.

Results and Next Steps
We ran into a variety of issues while assembling the board, which include:
Tracking down a number of shorts
Unresolved issues with our switching regulator circuit and logic level shifter
Hall Effect sensor output range outside of measurable voltage range of ESP32
Next Steps for future iterations:
Debug and fix regulator circuit
Correctly wire the logic level shifter
Add a voltage divider to the output of the analog hall effect sensor to make its output usable
