MEMS Sensor
Overview: MEMS Microphones are used in order to convert sound waves into electrical signals via capacitive transduction.Â
Description:
Hear Me Out: We are going to capture your talks and everything that you say! Our project has three major components: the microcontroller, SD Card, and the microphone itself. Integrating them allows for a comprehensive audio recording and processing system.
Microcontroller Power Supply:
The MEMS microphone requires a power supply, usually provided by the microcontroller. The microcontroller ensures that the MEMS microphone receives the required voltage and current for its operation. Power efficiency is crucial, especially in portable devices, and the microcontroller manages the power distribution to optimize energy consumption.
SD Card:
The microcontroller may be responsible for storing audio data from the MEMS microphone onto an SD card. This involves managing the file system, writing data to the SD card, and potentially organizing recorded audio files. The SD card provides a convenient and portable storage solution for audio recordings.
Microphone:
The microphone component contains a diaphragm which vibrates when there is a sound wave. That vibration changes capacitance and is converted into an electric sound.
