Standardized Testing Policy Changes

University of California System (UC)

UC is now test blind. This means that students do not need to take the SAT/ACT to apply.

What does "test-blind" mean?

  • Your scores aren't used for admissions decisions.

California State University System (CSU)

CSU is also test blind. This means that students do not need to take the SAT/ACT to apply.

Private Schools

Requirements will vary from college to college. Please check each college's admissions page for their requirements. Google the name of the college and "testing requirements" to find the information. If you don't understand the terminology or can't find the information, email Mrs. Marwick for help.

How to Send Your Scores

Log into your College Board or ACT accounts if scores are required or optiona. Do not send your scores to test blind colleges. There is a fee to send your scores, and they will not be looked at.
