Week 7 & 8, Term 3

Now that you have learnt about the planets and the sun, it is time to find out about other objects that exist in the Solar System such as:

Asteroids, Meteorites, Comets, The Milky Way Galaxy and Constellations.

Present your learning in a slide show with facts about each object. Make a title page for your slide show called Objects in the Solar System. Use the links below or your own research to find out about the objects then create your slide show using pictures and facts.

Create a Solar System slide show. Title page - Solar System

Make one slide for each planet in order from the sun.

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars,

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune

Use the links for each planet to find information

OR read the sheets in the Planets box

OR find a book about planets in the class library.

Find 3 facts for each planet.

Last slide - Choose one of the planets and list 3 ways this planet different from Earth?

For example, compare Mars and Earth

Using Google Drawings, create our Solar System by inserting images of the Sun and the planets.
