Read the powerpoint on Alexander Bell - inventor of the phone

Choose an inventor you would like to research
Create a presentation of your inventor answering the following questions:
- 1 - Name of inventor and what he/she invented
- 2 - Where the inventor was born and where they were raised
- 3 - Why did they decide to create their invention?
- 4 - Problems they faced while creating their invention
- 5 - How has their invention helped people
- 6 - Has their original invention changed, could it change in the future

Inventions of the Future
Click on the following links to view some inventions of the future. After viewing all of them you will need to choose your favourite and answer some questions about it.
Add a slide to your inventions timeline called "The Future of Inventions"
Insert an image of your favourite future invention from the choices above.
Answer the following questions on your new slide:
Why is this your favourite future invention?
How do you think it will change people's lives?
What will no longer be needed if your chosen invention becomes available to everyone?
Week 7, Term 2
Invention of Flight Timeline
Task - Create a slideshow Timeline of the evolution of flight using the list provided.

Page 2 - 9 - Choose 8 flight types - For each one create a page with the name of the flight type, pictures, inventors name, year of invention and country where it was created.

Inventions Timeline
Task - Create a slideshow Timeline of Inventions using the list of Everyday Inventions provided.
Page 1 - Title Page Inventions Timeline
Page 2 - 9 - Choose 8 everyday inventions - For each one create a page with the name of the invention, pictures, inventors name, year of invention and country where it was invented
Page 10 - Think of one more everyday invention and find out who invented it, when and where they are from.
Week 5, Term 2
Your Invention Idea
Task - Think of an idea for something you would like to create. Start by thinking of a problem you would like to solve - like cleaning your room, feeding your pets or pulling out weeds.

Activity 2 - Use Google Drawings to draw your invention using "scribble" and "lines". You can use shapes too and add some colour.
