My name is Miranda Kidd and this is my 18th year teaching first grade. I couldn't imagine teaching any other age group. The growth and learning that takes place in a first grade classroom is magical.
I've been married to my sweet husband for 18 years and we have 2 wonderful daughters (9th and 6th grade). I also love animals! I’ve had pets ranging from birds, frogs, turtles, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, a tarantula, hermit crabs, iguanas, rabbits, and more. We currently have 2 golden doodles: Murdock and Milo. I received both my undergrad and master's degree from The Ohio State University... GO BUCKEYES! My family and I enjoy traveling the world and have gone on many mission trips with our church to a variety of places such as Mexico, Honduras, Jamacia, and recently Africa!
When you walk into my classroom you'll quickly see I love frogs. Many have been gifts from previous students and are a wonderful reminder of the sweet little lives that journeyed through my room over the years. On the weekends you'll find me doing some of my favorite things like spending quality time with my family, being active in my church, or just relaxing with some delicious coffee.
I look forward to working together!
