I had no idea what to expect, from a socratic seminar, nor had I ever heard of one. I had always been behind in English after 6th grade, because I was in and out of hopsitals between 5-7th grade, and I often struggled to keep up. But English is where I struggled the most. This class only stressed me out more, but this class also taught me resilience and determination. With the constant struggle for an A, and also finish a 9 weeks with a B, I had an insane amount of determination to maintain my A. This socratic seminar was the breaking point in finishing with an A for one of the 9 weeks, and even resulted in a B for the 9 weeks, after that I was absolutley determined to never finish with a B again.
