While during freshman year I had completely loved Spanish, these feelings took a turn for me during sophomore year. During sophomore year is when Spanish two began to get harder. I was starting to fall behind, and I felt that there was more vocabulary than ever. I felt that we were learning new vocabulary and grammar everyday. Also I felt that I was not prepared for this class, because my Spanish class was so easy. But just because the class was hard doesn’t mean that I did not make the best of it. I had a lot of my super close friends in my class, which made the class better, and I also was trying really hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA. There even was one point that I believed that I could fail out of the class, and this was because I had to take my first midterm ever, because of COVID during my freshman year, that meant that I did not have to take any exams that year which was extremely nice. But when I got to sophomore year, and had to take midterms I felt a huge weight on my shoulders. One of the hardest midterms that I had to take was the Spanish two midterms, because it consisted of a written part and an oral part. I remember studying for hours on end, and I was absolutely miserable.
