Account reflects a well-informed understanding of how the options, choices, and lived experiences of a group of people are shaped by their particular contexts.

For this project I, along with other students, had to create posters covering different aspects of the Civil Rights Movement. Our group's topic was desegregation and we made posters covering The Civil Rights Act of 1964, Lunch Counter Sit Ins, MLK (“I have a dream speech”), Freedom Riders, Little Rock Nine, Jackie Robinson, and the Birmingham Campaign. We were instructed to use minimal text and mostly pictures. To keep everything very simple we used large pictures with simple captions and included a QR code to a website with more information about that event. I created two posters that I feel both show just enough about the event and have just enough information on them to clearly share the event and the overall message.
