Academy Site Reminders

Academy Car Park

As you will be aware, permanent barriers have been erected by the landowner on the paths either side of the approach road to the academy gates.

Double yellow lines already exist along that piece of road prohibiting parking on the road or on the pavements.

The barriers reinforce that fact and will serve as protection for pedestrians who have experienced potential danger from cars pulling up on the path without due care to their safety.

You will also be aware of the ongoing discussions and work with the Trust to adapt the arrangement of the car park to improve the flow and a communication about next steps will follow soon.

It is important, however, to remind all drivers of vehicles using the academy to use due care and attention to keep all stakeholders, particularly the children, safe.

To help you with this:

Thank you for your cooperation.

Dogs & Mobile Phones

As both the wellbeing and welfare of the children is paramount to us, we ask that you do not use your mobile phones on the school premises.

Please also note that we do not allow photos of the children to be taken without consent from their parents.

Therefore, we ask that you do not take photos of your children during any visits you attend or whilst on the school premises, as your photo may include a child who has not had consent for photos to be taken or used.

As an academy, we do not allow dogs to be brought onto our site. There are a number of reasons behind this decision including health and hygiene reasons and keeping everyone safe. The only exception to this is assistance dogs.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
