We had a fantastic start to the week on Monday with our very first 'Crafternoon'. It was wonderful to see so many parents join us for this new event; we had a brilliant time working together to make festive reindeers and singing songs. A huge thank you to all the parents for being so involved and helping to make the afternoon such a success! The rest of the week remained just as busy as we moved into our DT project, creating detailed 3D models of Stone Age settlements. This required a lot of thought about the physical and human geography features each village would have needed. We followed this with a creative Art project, building our own kaleidoscopes. This was a great way to link our artistic skills to our Science learning about reflection, light, and darkness. Our festive spirit continued as we visited the Innovation Centre to sing Christmas songs. It was such a fun experience, and we were even lucky enough to meet the Mayor, who gave the children some lovely compliments. One of the highlights of the week was our immersive Stone Age workshop. The costumes were truly amazing, and the children had a wonderful time stepping back in time and exploring that world. To wrap up a busy term, we spent our last day completing fun quizzes on our inquiry. It was a brilliant way to celebrate everything we have learned!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We can't wait for the fun to continue in Module 3!
