Year Five

Year 5 have spent this week working hard on planning, drafting and publishing their internal monologue on a Greek Myth.  They had a choice of choosing either Medusa, the beautiful maiden, who was cursed by Athena, and became a snake headed monster, or a minotaur, who was born a beast but became a monster through isolation and cruelty.  In science, we looked at gravity and how it affects our balance and tried a number of impossible challenges that altered our centre of gravity. And in PE we continued to practice our football skills, working in teams, passing, dribbling and goal scoring.
