NBHS Graduation 

Mid year graduation is Friday, June 13th @ 6pm at the Harrah's Cherokee Convention Center. 

There is a MANDATORY rehearsal at 3:30 AT HARRAHS. You must bring your Cap and Gown. You will  not be leaving before the ceremony. 

MORE DETAILS WILL COME SOON REGARDING TICKET INFORMATION!

Attendance MUST be made-up BEFORE you graduate! No exceptions! Exam days attendance does count.

You MUST turn in your laptops, chargers, and any fees owed to the school on your last exam day.

Hurricane Helene brought many challenges for our families in the North Buncombe District and in WNC. Please remember your Black Hawk counselors are here for support in a variety of ways. Please reach out for resources for your home, clothing, mental health support, or community information. If we do not have the answers...we can help direct you to other organizations.

Health and Wellness Supports for Students and Families


BCS offers many services and supports to students with the help of our school counselors, psychologist, social workers, and other specialists.  In the event of an urgent need at home or in the community, BCS main website provides information and resources that may provide additional help to students and families to improve their health and wellness.

nbhs aTTENDANCE SUMMER SCHOOL

Need to make up ATTENDANCE to EARN credit...you have an FF?

Please check with your counselor for complete information.

Attendance Study Lab (ASL) will begin at the end of September to make up absences from previous semesters.

BCS Summer Adademy

Need to make up an ACADEMIC credit.... failed a class needed for graduation or want to get ahead?

Please check with you counselor for complete information. This is a summer opportunity, but counselors have information regarding other opportunities to make up credits during the school year. 

Cyberbullying: What Can I Do?

Check out the BCS Student Services page information on what you can do to support those involved in inappropriate online communication.

Need a Driver's Eligibility Form?

Please complete THIS FORM 24 hours before coming to the school.

Upon successful completion of a Driver Education program, the student may obtain a Driving Eligibility Certificate from the school once adequate academic progress has been verified by the school. 

The student must have passed three out of four classes the previous semester.


Please fill out this forms 24 hours prior to when you plan to pick up the completed Driver's Eligibility Certificate and we will have the form ready to sign and pick up at the end of the 24 hours.
