Read chapters 1-7 of The Practice of Adaptive Leadership by Ronald Heifetz, Alexander Grashow, and Marty Linsky. A hard copy of the text was provided during cohort retreat.
Consider the following questions:
To what extent are the ideas in these texts in alignment with one another? in tension with one another? In what ways are the ideas distinct, but not necessarily in tension?
Consider the Mindframes. What relationship is there between Gorski, Dubose, and Swalwell's ideas about "equity leaps" and LLA's Mindframes for Leadership for Equity in Schools?
What implications are there for your approach to improving academic outcomes and disrupting inequities in your context?
