One of our facilitators is navigating some unexpected circumstances. In order to accommodate that, we are changing the order of the sessions for Summer Institute over the coming weeks. We realize this may have implications for how you organize your time to complete prework as you continue to prepare for the Institute, so we wanted to share the change with you as soon as it was confirmed. The new order of sessions (as of Saturday, July 2nd) is:

• Tuesday, July 5th - Excellent Instruction and Systems for Instructional Improvement I

• Wednesday, July 6th - Systems for Instructional Improvement II

• Thursday, July 7th - Leading Strategically: Facilitative Leadership, Adaptive Leadership, and Building Relationships

• Friday, July 8th - Excellent Instruction in Math

• Monday, July 11th - Excellent Instruction in Literacy

• Tuesday, July 12th - Social Identity, Social Bias, and Social Justice I

• Wednesday, July 13th - Social Identity, Social Bias, and Social Justice II

• Thursday, July 14th - Strategic Initiative Planning

• Friday, July 15th - Data Driven Equity I

Location: ABCD University High School; 575 Warren St 02121 (Thelma D Burns Building). Parking is available in the lot and on the street.

Dress: Business Casual. The location is air conditioned and can get chilly, so we recommend light layers.

Food: We will provide breakfast and lunch each day.

Time: Sessions begin each day at 8:00am. We ask that you arrive by 7:30, so you have time to get breakfast and settle in before the session starts.

Materials: Please have a fully charged laptop with you each day as well as access to the relevant readings for each day's session.

Covid Precautions: Masks continue to be welcome, but not required. Our policy for positive Covid tests continues to align with CDC guidelines. If you test positive for Covid-19, then you must isolate for 5 days after the positive test or onset of symptoms (whichever came first) regardless of vaccination status. On days 6-10, fully vaccinated people can join Summer Institute in person provided they are masked. If you have any questions regarding attendance and having recently tested positive for Covid-19, or If you test positive at any time during Summer Institute, please connect with us so we may support you as best as possible with your participation.
