About Joe:
Throughout my career I’ve worked across multiple areas of finance. I started in GE’s Financial Management Program, gaining experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, and Controllership. I then moved into asset management at Aberdeen, where I invested in private equity funds focused on natural resources and real estate. Following my MBA, I joined Harris Williams, advising private equity–backed companies on M&A transactions across healthcare, life sciences, and technology. I am also a CFA charterholder.

About Allie:
After graduating from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management in 2015, Allie began her career at Deloitte Consulting, working on strategy and transformation projects across industries. Sponsored by Deloitte to pursue her MBA, she attended Harvard Business School, where she deepened her expertise in entrepreneurship, impact investing, and social impact before returning to Deloitte. Today, Allie is Vice President of Product & Marketing at Ownify, a FinTech start-up focused on expanding homeownership for the “missing middle.”
Allie has over a decade of experience driving growth and innovation across the for-profit, nonprofit, and public sectors. She has led initiatives spanning corporate strategy, product, and operations to help organizations scale, improve efficiency, and drive impact. Her expertise spans industries including financial services and impact investing, healthcare, technology, and more.

About Brett:
Brett is a Senior Director of Investments at Cannae Portfolio Advisors. Cannae spun out of the larger multi-strat Paloma Partners in 2021. Brett serves as a Portfolio Manager focusing on absolute return strategies and also led tail-risk management hedging efforts.
Brett's expertise lies in credit markets and specialized derivatives. Before joining Paloma Partners, Brett gained experience on the sell-side across various trading and structuring roles, primarily within the fixed income and interest rates space.
Based in Milton, MA, Brett is an alumnus of Boston College, having graduated in 2006 with a major in Finance and achieving the distinction of summa cum laude. He recently obtained his Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Johns Hopkins.

About Nicole:
Nicole is a Senior Brand Manager on the OREO marketing team at Mondelez. She leads the brand’s partnership strategy and associated limited edition launch & marketing execution as well as supports the brand’s PR strategy. Prior to joining Mondelez in Sept ‘23, Nicole worked at Ferrero (from Jan ’20) as a brand manager on the Tic Tac marketing team followed by a role as senior brand manager on the Kinder Bueno brand team. The Kinder Bueno role involved total business management ensuring business performance achievements, developing and executing creative marketing campaigns for the brand and commercializing new product innovation launches.
Before Ferrero, Nicole spent 10 years at Padilla, an NYC-based marketing agency. Nicole is a BC 2010 grad who lives in Hoboken, NJ with her husband Colin (also a BC grad!) and Korean rescue pup Wrigley.

Jenni Mannion has over 10 years of marketing and advertising experience and is currently a Vice President of Account Management at Digitas. She has extensive agency and in-house experience across the finance, CPG, education, travel, and telecommunications industries and her work spans creative, media, strategy, technology, and events.
