Industry Coaches

Our industry coaches have lived experience working in specific fields. They're here to support your career journey by providing recruiting insights for specific industry and functional roles. They can help you learn how to interview, understand the hiring landscape, find potential employers, and provide networking coaching. Industry coaches are for specific industry knowledge not resume critiques or cover letter reviews.

Wendy Wang (CSOM, '20) grew up in the suburbs of NJ and her family recently moved to the suburbs of MA. While at BC, I studied Finance and Information Systems with a minor in Philosophy. On campus, she was primarily involved with the Chinese Students Association and the Student Organization Funding Committee. After graduating from BC, she worked in investment banking at Nomura. She recently moved jobs and now works on the Corporate Development team at Redesign Health, a series C healthcare startup. In her free time, she loves to eat, explore cities & spend time with family & friends.

While I was at BC, Wendy saw so much emphasis on investment banking, consulting and public accounting. "Like many," she says, "I went down the investment banking path, for the typical reasons but also because it felt like that's what everyone else was doing. Throughout the past few years of post-grad, I've learned that there are so many careers out there that I didn't even know existed while I was at BC." Now having been exposed to so much more, she is excited to support students in finding their path.

What Wendy misses most about BC is living with her best friends and having everyone so close.

Wendy will be coaching around 5-7 hours per week.
