About Taryn:
Taryn joined the CSOM Career Advising team in May 2025, bringing over a decade of experience helping early talent figure out what they want—and how to actually land it without spiraling. A proud Boston College alum with a degree in Human Development & Applied Psychology, she’s built a career around one common thread: helping young people navigate the wildly confusing world of work (and reminding them they’re not behind, they’re just early).
Before CSOM, she was at BC’s main career center, building employer partnerships and running events like career fairs and networking nights. Before that? She recruited software engineering early talent at Liberty Mutual and helped teens in Boston Public Schools turn part-time gigs into career stepping stones.
Taryn’s favorite part of the job? Building relationships with students, supporting them through career decisions—and just getting to know who they are beyond the resume.
Off the clock, she’s a mom, rescue pup wrangler, strategic board game lover, and bracelet-making, book-devouring reality TV enthusiast.

About Morenike:
Before joining the Carroll School of Management Career Advising team in January 2024, Morenike was already a familiar face at Boston College, coaching students at the main Career Center. Now, she spends her time helping undergrads figure out what they want to be when they grow up—or at least what they want to do next year.
Her path to career coaching wasn’t linear (and she thinks that’s a good thing). She spent over a decade in healthcare and employee benefits consulting, plus a stint in the nonprofit world, where she learned that the phrase “wearing many hats” was not metaphorical.
She’s a proud Brown University alum with a degree in Economics and brings the same curiosity she had then to every advising appointment. Outside of work, she’s a mom of two, which means she’s always practicing patience, perspective, and finding snacks in unexpected places.

About Kim:
Kim Niemi is a career coach, resume whisperer, professional dot-connector, and proud BC alum. After more than a decade in the business world, she now helps Boston College students cut through the noise of “I don’t know what I want to do” and build real, actionable career plans.
She’s a Certified Professional Résumé Writer (translation: she can turn bullet points into gold) and works especially closely with business students heading into finance, marketing, and beyond. As a BC alum herself, Kim knows firsthand what it’s like to make the leap from campus to career. Her coaching style is practical, encouraging, and focused on helping students play to their strengths — because she believes every student has a story worth telling, and the key is knowing how to tell it well.
When she’s not coaching, Kim is probably spending time with her husband, three kids, and double doodle, training for her third marathon, experimenting with new recipes, or enjoying time at her beach house in Narragansett, RI.

Students can ask me about breaking into finance - whether in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity - as well as how to think about career transitions across these paths. About Amy:
Amy Donegan has been coaching generations of Eagles at CSOM since LinkedIn still had vowels. She’s the architect behind transforming a one-woman career office into a full-fledged empire of professionals, peer advisors, industry insiders, and resources that actually work (no offense, career quizzes). She also created the wildly popular Career Accelerator class—now a rite of passage for two-thirds of CSOM students and a minor scheduling crisis for the rest.
Amy loves working with young people—especially the confused Gen Z’ers who wander into her office with big questions and a creeping sense they’re already behind. She’s painfully direct, fluent in both career strategy and profanity, and while she’ll definitely forget your name, she’ll never forget your story.
When she’s not helping students figure out what to do with their lives (or at least their summers), Amy is probably biking, on the tennis court, or heading to the Plex with every intention of crushing a workout—only to end up staring at the machines like they’re modern art.
She loves cashing in her PTO to explore somewhere fabulous or finding a peaceful pond to fish with her husband. She’s also the proud mother of two grown sons, who sometimes even call her.
