Force Field

Forces Fields: Forces have a field (area around the source) where the force acts.

• Nuclear Forces: Bind two nucleons (protons and neutrons) together in the nucleus.
• Gravitational Forces: Force of attraction between any two objects.
• Magnetic Forces: Force of attraction or repulsion between magnets.
• Electrical Forces: Force of attraction or repulsion between electrical charges.

Strength of Force Fields:

• Stronger the field = stronger the force (for gravity, more mass = stronger field)
• Closer to the sources = stronger force
• Further from the source = weaker force
