A player is offside when they enter a court area not allowed for their position, whether or not they touch the ball.
Exceptions: A player may enter an offside area to retrieve the ball to take a sanction or action.
A player may reach over or lean on the ball in an offside area as long as they do not touch the ground in that area.
Standing on a line is allowed - stepping over a line is offside.
Sanction: Free pass where the offside occurred.

When two players go offside, umpires should penalise the first one that went offside.
When two players go offside at the same time without touching the ball play continues.
When two players go offside at the same time and touch or catch the ball then POSSESSION is awarded to the team who last had the ball.
