MixTape

In the Broughal MixTape Project, students will get a comprehensive introductory course in music composition, recording, production, podcasting, and more! No experience is required!

We use SoundTrap as our platform for an inquiry based approach to learn more about and experiment with any style of music the student wants.

Throughout the school year, students will get to interact with industry professionals to learn all the tricks of the trade like owning a record label, running a recording studio, vocal workshops, music distribution , and radio hosting and podcasting.

By the end of the school year, students will have written numerous songs and samples and will have the opportunity (if they choose) to put some of their work on display as part of the official Broughal MixTape.
