Graduation Requirements/ NCAA

According to the law, your child will automatically be enrolled in the college preparatory/work ready curriculum, and you do not need to do anything to enroll your child in this curriculum. However, if you choose the core curriculum, you must complete the information below and return it to the school prior to enrollment. Please contact the high school principal or school counselor if you have questions or need additional information.

4 units of English

3 units of math: Algebra 1 or higher

3 units of science: 1 biological science, 1 physical science

3 units of history: 1 unit of American History, 1/2 unit of Government, 1/2 unit of Oklahoma History

2 units of foreign language OR computer technology

1 additional core class (English, Science, History, Math, Computer Tech, or Foreign Language)

1 unit of fine arts

6 units of electives

= 23 credits

4 units of English

3 units of math: Algebra 1 or higher but can also include Math of Finance and Intermediate Algebra

3 units of science: 1 unit of biological science

3 units of history: 1 unit of American History, 1/2 unit of Government, 1/2 unit of Oklahoma History

1 unit of foreign language OR computer technology

1 unit of fine art

8 units of electives

= 23 credits


Training in CPR/AED is required for every high school graduate.

Completion of Personal Financial Literacy 14 components are required for high school graduation.

Completion of ACT, US History Test, and Science Test.

Must pass the US Naturalization test.

*Unit = 1 complete school year of a course or 1 full credit.

Wanting to play college sports?

College-bound student-athletes preparing to enroll in a Division I or Division II school need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center to ensure they have met amateurism standards and are academically prepared for college coursework.
