Read and annotate pages 11-21 in Putting Essential Understanding of Fractions into Practice
Plan and facilitate at least 2 Fair Shares problems in your classroom; you can do this in a whole group or small group setting
Look at your student work and use the questions below to make sense of their ideas:
What did the student do? Try to describe exactly what they did without evaluating their process or answer. Just observe and note down what was done.
