In Taylors first design her animal included some adaptations pretty similar to our final design. She added a long neck, a beak, and large wings.
Peightons first design included horns, wings, and a beak. it had pointy toes and a large body.
This is the design we decided to go with. We decided to go with Taylors but add some of Peighton adaptations into it.
This is Our AI image of our habitat .We included an aurora sky and of course some snow. We thought it would be good to add in a lake because Apollos food comes from water. The pink bushes look super cool and add a pop of colour.
This is our Ai image of our creature called the Apollo. Although it doesn't look like the design we chose we actually really like this one so we decided to keep it.
Apollo
Introduction
In this report I will discuss the habitat, food chain, Adaptations and appearance of Apollo. The name Apollo means the Greek god of sunlight, healing, music and manly beauty in latin.
Adaptations/Appearance
Our creature Apollo has a really long neck to catch loads of prey from under the water kind of like what a duck can do,it's pretty cool.Apollo also has two big sharp horns sticking out the side of its head,it's like another way for Apollo to catch its prey. Apollos vibrant colours worn predators not to mess it. .Apollo also has really good peripheral vision so that it can catch its prey of guard as another way to protect itself. Apollo's wings and feet are there in the same matter, they both do similar jobs. Apollos feet are very big so that when it lands it can grip onto anything without any faults and its wings are very long so that it can have a very smooth flight when it's up in the air.
Habitat
On planet X the temperature isn't just cold it's freezing! The temperature reaches about -79°C on average. The ice thickness is 23cm and the water depth is about 8142m (26,712 feet). Here on this planet you probably shouldn't expect to see sunshine and rainbows, it's more wind, snow and chilly storms. There are rivers, lakes and mountains on this planet. The tallest mountain on this planet reaches 7,098m, that's 1751m shorter than Mount Everest!
Diet/Nutrition
Apollo's Diet is very small believe it or not even though Apollo has a very large body it's still very little. Their favourite treat is krill but will also eat fish if they get the chance. They enjoy fry (small fish)
