Introduction
Ferocious. It prowls at night. The Jarvar Snow Lion it’s scientific name being Tesca Glacies Rex meaning The tundra ice King.The huge mammal with an impenetrable hide like the Nemean lion from greek mythology.The first thing that would come to your mind if you saw this animal standing right in front of you would be to RUN!!!
adaptations/appearance
When you look at the Jarvar snow lion you just know that it’s an apex predator.While the male grow up to 3 metres long including the tail and the females are slightly smaller at a size of 2.5 metres.Their thick fur gives them an impenetrable hide which makes them an apex predator.It’s spiky Ice mane gives it great protection while it also has great protection on its tail that has Icicle like spikes on it.The Jarvar is a nocturnal animal so of course it also has night vision. The Jarvar has many amazing traits such as Camouflage,great grip,internal compass,gills and a 1500 psi bite force.
Habitat
The Jarvar lives in an amazing habitat.The place where the Jarvar lives is surrounded by a beautiful ice plant called Gulgarian lumenesai. They tend to spend most of their time on mountains but when it’s time to hunt they go down the mountain to the icy waters surrounding the snowy mountains. Their habitat also has lots of rocks and they tend to jump from one to the other with their strong muscular legs.
Diet
The Jarvar has a large diet consisting of many different animals such as Ibex,Markhor,Bharal,Tarhr,Blue sheep,Arctic crocodile,Arctic cods,Snail fish,sculpins,eelpout,Arctic vulture,Crested fisher and the Siberian crane. Also the male is the one that does more hunting during the mating season when the female is pregnant.
Reproduction
Jarvar snow lions come together to breed from January to March. The male will stay with the female for about a week before going out on his own again. After a gestation period of 93 -110 days the litter sizes will range from 1 to 5 (but usually 2 to 3). Cubs will stay with mom for 18 to 22 months.
The creature that can dive down to 5 km is critically endangered so we must protect it. In this report we hope you have learnt a lot about the Jarvar and reminded yourself not to mess with it.

This is our animals main predator, it kills cubs learning to swim, but Jarvar Snow Lions can kill adult Arctic Saltwater Crocodiles.
the Arctic Saltwater Crocodile has quite a few behaviors like a dinosaur or other prehistoric reptiles.
Huge claws to slash prey and swim, loner and more powerful legs than actual crocodiles
Huge fangs to cut the meat of prey, 1300 bite force.
