Green Spiked Kappa

Erin's idea

This is Erins first idea its a flying stinger it had fins to push against the water to go at a fast speed in the water and to lift up to fly out the water 3 cm from the water.At the end of their fins they have singers that if touched a nasty poisin flows into the other animal.

Rosa's idea

This Rosa's first design this is the basic idea of what we stuck with and we just made some changes at the time we didn't come up with a proper name so the one on the paper wasn't the final name.

Isla's idea

Isla didn't get to finish her design it was gonna be an orca like animal that is purple and green it could go land and in water and has a poisonous tail that if an animal gets to close to it it gets stung and will have fatal injures it has a thick layer of blubber to keep warm in the cold waters where it swims they eat arctic cod,Emperor penguins, krill, leopard seals it can hold it breath for up to 3 hours strait before it goes up to get food it can live up to 60 years and the babies look like it but smaller but they have dark blue spots on there head

Our Report

The green spiked Kappa is an incredible creature originated from Planet X.It has easily survived in the cold climates and still seems to be top of the food chain.It is a mammal that has adapted through generations of drastic changes on its home planet, Planet X.

Physical Appearance Size-It has an outstanding size of 15ft (4.572 metres) and weighs up to 650kg.It has a remarkable tooth size of 7cm. It has evolved to have a single row of green spikes pointing backwards to help increase speed when swimming through the water. It’s covered in a thick coat of short haired,blue fur, along with scattered dark,blue patches on its stomach.It has developed 2 extra flippers which concludes to it having four.The green spiked Kappa also has a whale tail which it uses to strongly swim through the arctic waters.That along with extra flippers is a great asset of the Green Spiked Kappa.

Adaptations- Adaptations are a very important part of Planet X, the Green Spiked Kappa has a whole list of them. First of all it has an extremely thick coat of blubber it can be as thick as 6 inches, blubber provides insulation from cold ocean temperatures in the arctic. For extra warmth it has heat ventilated skin. One of its greatest adaptations is that it possesses incredible adaptations that help it thrive in its aquatic environment. One notable adaptation is its ability to hold its breath for up to an hour. This is made possible by its specialized lungs, which efficiently store oxygen. When the creature falls asleep underwater, its lungs undergo a process called decompression. This allows the air in its lungs to adjust to the surrounding water pressure, enabling it to remain submerged for as long as it stays unconscious.

Diet and Nutrition- The Green Spiked Kappa eats a lot of things but for different reasons they eat Crustacean (lobster) for copper and selenium and also contains zinc, phosphorus, vitamin B12, magnesium, vitamin E, and a small amount of omega-3 fatty acids. Leopard seals for fiber and Its fur gives the Spiked

Conclusion- so in conclusion the green spiked kappa seal is the top of the food chain and the main predator. Its green spiked back helps it kill any animal that walks into it so don't get near them!!!!!!
