The Objectives of the Personal Project
The objectives state the specific targets that are set for learning. They define what you will be able to accomplish as a result of your study. The objectives of MYP projects encompass the factual, conceptual, procedural and metacognitive dimensions of knowledge.
There are three objectives that you must complete. You must address all strands of all three objectives to successfully complete the MYP personal project.
You will need to speak to your supervisor about the best option for you to do.
Whichever the case, you need to discuss the following:
Your specific topic
The goal(s) of your project are defined with a clear outline of how you intend to achieve them
A description of the process you went through to achieve your goal
The product you created
An analysis of what inspired you to choose your product/outcome (plans and process)
A discussion on the research that guided your work
The resources you used
Identifying and discussing the findings you made through creating the product/outcome.
The ATL techniques you applied
The challenges and issues you faced and perhaps solved
A conclusion that has you reflecting on the impact your project has had on you and the new perspectives it provided you with.
