A Letter to the Manufacturing Technicians
Your contribution to the SCOpe project is highly appreciated by the customer, BABEC, and the consumers, the high school teachers and students all over the bay area. The products you make and the pipettes you calibrate will allow hundreds of students access to equipment, resources and hands-on science. You are contributing to inspiring young students to continue their studies in biology and biotechnology! THANK YOU!
Read before you start: Instructions for the manufacturing/calibration process:
1. The first task is to review the project background under the Home Tab.
2. Participate in the project as directed by your professor or volunteer in a project.
3. If participating as a club, please log-in and log-out as directed by your coordinator. If you are participating in class, your professor will log in the hours you worked.
4. At the end of the project, pleaes fill out the Assessment found here.

I, ________________________________________, accept and agree to abide by the operational rules of the Bay Area Bioscience Education Community (BABEC). I understand that when participating in BioSCOPE and BABEC activities, I may be photographed and/or filmed for print, video, or electronic imaging. I understand that the images may be used in promotional materials, news releases, web sites and other published formats for BioSCOPE. I acknowledge that the images will be the sole property of BABEC.
I hereby consent and authorize BABEC, its agencies, legal representatives, successors and assigns, to use and reproduce these photographs, by or for BABEC, alone or in conjunction with other photographs, still or moving, sketches, cartoons, art work, and text matter. BABEC is allowed to circulate the same for the purposes of illustration, advertising, and publication, in any manner and in any medium whatsoever without limitation or reservation. These include but are not limited to use in books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, brochures, pamphlets, leaflets, all types of printed materials, television, and all other means of public display.
I specifically release BABEC, its agencies, legal representatives, successors, and assigns, of any and all liability of any and every nature arising out of the above-mentioned use of these photographs on behalf of myself, my agents, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.
I understand that BABEC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and that use of photographs will be limited to educational, outreach, and non-commercial purposes. No other oral or written representations or promises have been made to me. I represent that I am over the age of 18 years and that I have read the foregoing and completely understand the contents thereof.
