Proposal for Second Round of the Regional Joint Venture: Now that the BioSCOPE project has a start, what are changes and goals we want to make for the next round that fits into the SWP metrics?
The SWP metrics include: 1) increase in enrollment to the program; 2) obtainment of certificate or 2 year degree; 3) job in industry 2 quarters and 4 quarters after exit.

For the 2nd round of the Regional Joint Venture, we proposed:
- Addition of 4 more colleges (Contra Costa College, City College of San Francisco, Merritt College and Las Positas College.)
- Diversify Work-Based Learning Opportunities (slide production, micro-biome data analysis) for increasing career pathways
- Increased enrollment through recruitment and outreach to more community colleges (and to high schools)
- Exploration of paid internships at cc’s or BABEC sites
- Industry advised digital badges for technical and soft skills
